Active Seismic Work
Geometrics Geodeâ„¢ Exploration Seismographs and cabled geophone systems were loaned from IRIS PASSCAL to carry out refraction, reflection, and surface wave surveys. Densely spaced lines of geophones were placed at different sites in the vegetated glacial forelands and a hammer source was used with the goal of imaging shallow subsurface ice features.
